Project: Carolina Theatre Renovation at Belk Place

In 2018, in preparation for the renovation of the historic Carolina Theatre, The Boswell Group’s Electrical Division relocated a 2000 amp electrical service in the theatre building. The team also added a 2000 amp temporary electrical service for the upcoming construction of the 250-room Intercontinental Hotel, which will sit atop a grand lobby encompassing the entrance to the theatre.

In October 2019, The Boswell Group’s Plumbing Division was awarded the plumbing for the Carolina Theatre renovation and new construction of the five-story grand lobby. Construction began June 2020.
